Tatiana Valerie’s Photography in Times Square, NYC!

Last evening was super exciting for me — I experienced what it feels like to see my photography displayed on a gigantic street-corner billboard in Times Square. This wonderful digital showcase and the global art competition was a part of Art Takes Time Square project by See Me.

A few words from the event organizers: “Art Takes Times Square scoured the globe for today’s greatest creative talents to identify one artist whose work will be displayed in a massive exhibition on the glittering screens of Times Square. Tens of thousands of artists joined this international phenomenon, contributing works that received over 2 million page views through the course of the competition.”

Three of my photos were selected to be displayed on a 23-story-high billboard, replacing Samsung’s ads for one hour. A great “THANK YOU” goes out to my dear friend Amy Kathuria at MeToo Cakes for taking that photo of me! (I usually stay behind the camera… but not this time!)

Anniversary Photo Shoot in Central Park

It is never too late to have a fun photo-session with your loved one. My friend Amy and her husband Vik recently celebrated their 9th Wedding Anniversary. The couple initially eloped and had a Hawaiian beach wedding (fun, right?!) They skipped over the whole engagement process, which means hey had no engagement photos. Now they have some great anniversary pictures instead!

Amy and Vik said that this photo shoot made them feel ten years younger as if they were a newly engaged couple.

Long exposure photography at wedding reception.

Good afternoon, dear friends and followers! I hope you had a great weekend! I am sharing another example of “painting with light” photography. This photo was made at an intimate wedding reception while the guests were enjoying their main course. My camera was set for long exposure to make sure I had enough time to “paint” the red heart with a red pocket flashlight and get out of the picture to capture the room’s ambiance.
