On the eve of the New York bridal fashion week, October 3rd, 2018, event professionals community had a big celebration at the luxurious Ravel hotel in Long Island City. The elaborate celebration featured exquisite gowns by Kleinfeld Bridal, Pnina Tornai, Randy Fenoli, Jaclyn Jordan, Sarah Jassir, Designer Loft, Yumi Katsura, and Galia Lahav. The after party at the reception room of the hotel was so much fun and some might even call it over the top! The abundance of delectable foods and beverages, top-notch bar staff and DJ made it the party to remember for the crème de la crème of the New York event industry folks.

Artvesta photographers provided photography coverage for the event and we had a blast doing so! While Tatiana, the owner and primary photographer, mingled with the guest, our wonderful photographers Jelo and Isaiah, were busy documenting the festivities.

As always, the room was full of familiar faces…some of them were VERY familir, such as Randy Fenoli, an American television presenter and fashion designer who is mainly known for his work on Wedding Dresses and his own TV Show Randy’s Wedding Rescue and Say Yes to the Dress.

Tatiana: I asked some of my event professionals friends what they liked most and what they remembered most about the event and here what they said:

The first thing that we remember is the beautiful fashion. It hits you right as you enter the space.
The gowns were magnificent.

What we like most about the event was the camaraderie among wedding industry professionals. It’s nice to be able to to spend time with old and new friends that share your same passion for weddings and events.

Steven Sendor is a genius! He always knows how to bring the Wedding industry together for a memorable night. Getting exclusive preview at all the major designer’s bridal gown collections, was a real treat. The chic gowns that was a standout for me was by designer Chelsea. It was the biggest ball Gown in the room. What stood out to me is the impeccable details of the dress that is fit for a bride going for the ultimate princess look. I also loved the collection by Galia Lahav, it was fresh, Sophisticated with a very modern and elegant flair! – Bjön VW, Björn & Co event planning and design

I really enjoyed how the gowns were up close & personal and u can see all the beautiful details and how we were all mingling with the designers that were presenting.  For me I was blown away by the design of the room of the “after party” I liked the lounge style and all the glow of the candles. Especially how they had the candle stands to resemble trees. I loved the dessert presentation at the end with the sparklers. I had the most fun with shake & share media’s video booth it felt like my own personal video shoot! – Yohaidy Pichardo, Betty’s Total Events

What I always like about “Sophisticated Weddings”‘s events, and this one was not an exclusion, is that they are always perfectly and elegantly planned. Get ready “to feel comfortable” – yes, you won’t find any overcrowded spots and unbelievable lines here. Surround yourself with other like minded creative professionals and just enjoy talking a bit. Also, having a chance to see the collections preview from top #nybfw designers…such an amazing experience! I even had my ex-bride asking me to make “one more” wedding for her, because she literally felt in love with one of the dresses she saw at the event!  – Olha Barabash, Sense Of Moment event planning
